Begin your shore adventure with a stroll up to the hotel and into Norway's largest ice bar, where you are welcomed with an ice cold crowberry shot, locally known as "Rudolf's Revenge!"

You can also visit Gabba Kennel and take a look at some of the many Siberian Huskies who live there. Afterwards, you will enjoy a meal at the Gabba restaurant where you'll be greeted by a roaring fire. Snack on sausages with potato pancakes and mustard before returning to Kirkenes where you first stop at Prestfjellet Mountain, with its magnificent views of both the town and your Hurtigruten cruise ship.
