  • See the bright, charming houses of Skagen.

  • Take in the beautiful scenery of Skagen’s surroundings.

  • See the buried church

This panoramic tour of Skagen and its’ surroundings will showcase the idyllic town of Skagen and lead you through the protected, and unique, landscape of the Northern tip of Jutland. You will be passing by Hulsig Heath, a landscape internationally protected for preservation, and one of the largest dune heaths in Europe.  Make a photo stop at the buried church, built in 1300s but engulfed by the sand drift, today only the tower is visible.

The tour will be heading for Raabjerg Mile, the largest migrating sand dune in Northern Europe. It has been crowned as one of the most beautiful areas of Denmark. This sand dune was formed on the West coast in the 16th century due to the large deforestation, which eventually led to the ‘Great Sand Drift’. We make a short photo stop at Raabjerg Mile sand dune, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the migrating dune.

We continue through Old Skagen, passing fashionable seaside hotels and characteristic bright yellow houses continuing along the coastal road. The tour will conclude with a panoramic drive through Skagen town, down to the charming marina before ending at the cruise pier
