On this tour you'll travel by bus from the harbor in Eidi (Eiði) to the famous and historical stacks, called the 'Giant and the Witch'. You will meet a sheep farmer who will tell you about Faroese sheep. You can even cuddle and hold a lamb, if you like.
You'll proceed to the village of Gjogv to explore its hidden marvel, a chasm cut deep into the basalt by the relentless sea. From Gjogv, you'll follow the twisting mountain road down to Funningur, where the Vikings first settled. Traveling along a narrow fjord, you'll make your way back to the main road and through a tunnel, heading back to the west side of Eysturoy, where you'll enjoy a view of the ‘bridge over the Atlantic’, which connects the two main islands of Eysturoy and Streymoy. You’ll stop for a brief photo session above the village of Eiði before returning to the ship.
