The fisheries are still of primary importance to the region, and the Lofoten cod fishery has always formed the basis of existence for the people who live here. Enjoy a visit to the painter Gunnar Bergs’ gallery, and taste locally-produced stockfish. You will also see a fish restaurant and a fish-processing plant.
