Scandinavian Airlines (SAS)

SAS is one of the founding members of Star Alliance, the world's largest global airline alliance, and Scandinavia’s leading airline.

Through partnerships with United Airlines, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and Virgin America, SAS offers many connections via its several gateways in the US to Scandinavia. SAS also provides service to many European cities via its Scandinavian hubs – Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm.

New cabins and aircrafts

SAS has updated its current long-haul fleet with a modern design, new seats, new entertainment system, and Wi-Fi on board. SAS has also added 4 new Airbus A330 Enhanced to its long-haul fleet. All SAS transatlantic aircrafts are equipped with Wi-Fi. (Wi-Fi is a complimentary service for SAS Business and SAS Plus. For SAS Go, there is a charge of US $ 19 for the duration of the flight.)

New entertainment system

All intercontinental aircrafts with new cabins will have the latest in on-demand entertainment with a choice of approximately 200 movies, TV programs, games, music, audio books, and podcasts

SAS lounge

SAS airport lounges at Newark and O’Hare are available for SAS Business and SAS Plus passengers. The SAS lounges offer home-like comforts in an inviting Scandinavian atmosphere.  Rest and relax, enjoy refreshments or catch up on some work in a calm, stress-free environment. PC’s, complimentary internet access, Skype telephone calls, and reading material are just some of the many complimentary services available.

Mileage program

Earn points or mileage with SAS EuroBonus or any Star Alliance program, including United Mileage Plus.

*The Boston – Copenhagen route is operated by PrivateAir with only SAS Business and SAS Go service classes. Starting October 29, 2017 the Boston-Copenhagen route will be operated by an SAS Airbus 330 featuring the new SAS cabin with all three service classes; SAS Business, SAS Plus, and SAS Go.
